Mucho Fulci

I am having a mini Lucio Fulcio retrospective at the moment. Watched Don't Torture a Duckling last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is one of his earliest pieces and even though rough round the edges, it has his mark stamped all over it.
Yes, I watched the dubbed version, as I tend to struggle with subtitles; reading whilst trying to watch and enjoy a visually-beautiful movie like this is just too much for me and it is fair to say that there are very few subtitled films which I have truly enjoyed.
It's all here - nudity, sex, a handful of grisly murders and the obligatory red herring or two. Typical Fulci fare. Even the ridiculous special effect of the priest's face being smashed to pieces while tumbling down a cliff was forgivable.
If you are new to his work - or cult movies in general - there are several more titles I would recommend (and will comment on as and when I re-watch them in the coming weeks)
